Buy Local Virginia has a website: http://www.buylocalvirginia.org/

They have also put out a printed publication that I will try to get copies of to bring to our next Chapter meeting.

Good cooking - good living!

Great meeting last night, Lots of exciting things were discussed. Thanks to the Village Square for hosting this month. WE ARE NOT HAVING A MEETING IN AUGUST TO GIVE ALL A BREAK. But we will start up again on Monday September the 14th and the Village Square has offered to host again. I hope to see you there.

I will more than likely be cooking dinner service at 6pm on Wednesday night. We're less than a two-minute walk from Village Square on Indian Alley to the south. I encourage you to drop by and say hello. Go out the back door of Village Square and turn left in the alley. We're 50 feet on the right just past Boscawen St. It might be 200 yards between the two restaurants.

For the Village Square Restaurant - I will be providing directions to those that need them. It is located on the downtown pedestrian mall in Winchester. Your best bet is to park in the Braddock Street Garage and go through the alley to the mall area. I can provide a mapquest link to those need directions. Please let me know.
