A Recipe To Heal A Heavy Heart
I don't know if any of you saw this on the CBS news or on CBS Sunday Morning a couple of weeks ago, but I found it very inspiring. It is a short video about a boy who lost his twin brother and the wonderful way he and his pediatrician found a way to bring out his passion and joy---by baking. I have contacted Aaron and his family to encourage him to continue with his prescription from his doctor. Just wondering when our next chapter meeting is being held.
I am thinking of getting my CEC. I've downloaded all of the info from the ACF site. My question is where will the testing be held? I live in SC? Any info is good and will be well appreciated.

Great to hear from you. Congratulations on a very successful SE Regional. Everyone I spoke with said it was just great.
Everything here is going full swing; I'm leading a group of Sodexo Healthcare chefs in the SE to focus and get certified and increasing the culinary skills in thier units. We started last Jan and we got our first CEC last month.
I hope your quest for ACF President is going good...all the chefs I speak with I tell them if you are looking for change and success ..vote for Elizabeth.

I need a favor. I'm chairing a committee on the certification commision focused on increasing certification renewal rates. I need to recruit some help, and was thinking you might be able to recommend a couple of chefs. Need a good representation amongst certification levels and between working chefs and chef educators as well. Any recommendations you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
