About Me:

There is a lot about me that has to be learned by getting to know me! I am the single mother of two beautiful children and I have a passion for the finer things in life- hence why I am in the Culinary/Patisserie Profession! I love what I do and I learn so much everyday! I am challenged every day and I love to learn and create- I have a passion for plating that is uncompromised. I have so much to be excited about- my partner in crime at school, my friend and fellow Chef, John Reule and I have started our own personal chef business..."An Intimate Affair". I am so very excited as there is quite the market for personal chef's here in the Twin Cities and other parts of the Country! What is your favorite recipe creation?

Right Now- I am in love with the Opera Cake...it is so elegant and the different flavors and the way it is presented; I love it! In addition- Petit Fours in all categories is my world at this time...I love designing small individual desserts- there is nothing like it. And mostly, the smiles and satisfaction from the patrons who try my creations, makes it all worth it!

Who is your favorite Musical Artist?

I have so many favorites that there is not enough room to list them all!

What is your favorite TV show?

I love Ghost Hunters, A Paranormal State, 48 Hours and the like : )

I work in the Library here at Le Cordon Bleu so there is an abundance of text from which I read everyday in regard to the Culinary and Patisserie world- yes I know...Me, a Librarian!?!?

If you could have dinner with any three people who would it be and why?

If I could have dinner with three people...hmmm: I would love to have dinner with Auguste Escoffier, Antoine Careme and perhaps Catherine de Medici- what a dinner that would be!
