24 years in the kitchen, one year sabbatical as a seafood salesman (I have less respect for salesmen than I did a year ago). Now a culinary instructor, writer, contract-chef, caterer and amateur food-photographer. I Published a book in 2006 (reference the website below), and now I write for multiple publications. Four kids and a very,very strong wife who puts up with my never-ending certification nonsense.

Heather Tompkins said… - yup I was..... I went with 3 instructors and 8 other students from the colleges "HCAT Chef's" Club..... I'm also on AACC Culinary team, hopefully next year we will get to compete at the show.
