About Me:
I am new to the field of the culinary arts. its exciting to me thus far and I wish to learn more and hone my craft and skills. I am a traditionalist in the kitchen I learned from Gramma and Grandpa in the kitchen and on the old barbeque out back. My mother and father also helped me along before they passed away and I received their cookbooks and family recipes. I want to continue my love for cooking as I go through my culinary school and use it to travel the world and learn other countries cooking techniques and origins.

What is your favorite recipe creation?
I have a great stuffed chicken dish that I created as well as a unique ham roasting recipe, just ask me about it if you're interested.
When did you enter the Culinary Profession?
This year(2009) I am a student at IT, but I've enjoyed cooking since I was a child with my family.
Who is your favorite Musical Artist?
Cliff Burton(original, deceased Bassist of Metallica), and the band Krisiun, amazing musicians!
What is your favorite TV show?
Anthony Bordains No Reservations, Andrew Zimmern's Bizzare Foods, and That 70's Show

If you could have dinner with any three people who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with my parents again because I would like to get their approval on my approach to our family recipes and my own that I have created since thay have passed away. Then I'd have a one on one dinner with Andrew Zimmern of Bizzare Foods because I know that guy would introduce me to alot of strange eats!!!

Splitting hairs, my view on the ongoing arguement of student vs. experience.

I have been reading alot of the articles and discussions here on this site and I seem to notice the ongoing argument of students in the culinary field and experience through hard work and sweat. I am a student and I have been cooking for myself for most of my life, I have experienced both. What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?

Me? It would probably have to be stinky tofu and baby ocopus legs... still wriggling and trying to come back up my throat haha, i gagged a few times but they were tasty, and very determined to get out ha, nasty feeling let me tell ya!

A saucy Question.....

Last week my friend and I were trying out some of my recipes and we came across my barbeque sauce recipe for wings..... so ya we went to the dollar store, walmart and the grocery store gathering what we needed to try it out. Now we put it all together let it cook down and allowed the ingredients to mix together and break down, it was perfect! nice and spicy, sweet and tangy. Now my question is this.
